Green Tea Tablets

  • Standardised to 95% polyphenols
  • Stronger antioxidant than vitamins C & E
  • Equivalent to 4,500mg

Green Tea Extract is becoming an increasingly popular supplement due to its many benefits to health and weight loss. Green Tea, derived from the plant Camellia Sinensis, is naturally high in many antioxidant and flavonoid compounds including Epigallocatechin Gallate (ECGC), Epicatechin Gallate (ECG), Epigallocatechin (EGC), Epicatechin (EC), Kaempferol, quercetin and myricetin. These compounds are more active than other antioxidants, 68mg of the concentrated phenols and flavonoids have the equivalent antioxidant power of 275mg of vitamin C and up to 813mg of vitamin E. Anti-oxidants play an important role in health, scavenging free radicals helping to protect the human body from inflammatory and carcinogenic responses.

Green Tea Extract has also been shown to benefit those who are trying to lose weight. The polyphenol content increases the metabolic rate, so more calories are burned during the course of the day. Insulin response is also improved, helping to reduce the waistline and promote the use of fat as a fuel. This response can also help improve energy levels, proving extra energy to prevent the onset of fatigue and increase exercise performance.
