Lithium Orotate

  • 5mg of elemental lithium per tablet from 131mg of lithium orotate
  • Chelated orotate form of this trace element
Description

Lithium is a naturally-occurring trace element found in small amounts in many foods including grains, vegetables and drinking water. Lithium orotate is a chelated form in which the lithium is bound to orotic acid.

Our tablets deliver 5mg of elemental lithium per tablet — a low-dose nutritional amount that is several hundred times lower than the doses found in prescription-only pharmaceutical lithium products (lithium carbonate, used as a regulated medicine). These products differ significantly in dose, form and intended use, and should not be confused.

Lithium does not currently hold any authorised EFSA health claims, and EFSA has not established a Nutrient Reference Value or Tolerable Upper Intake Level for lithium. We make no specific health claims for this product.

Important: Do not take if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, on prescription lithium medication, on diuretics, or have kidney or thyroid conditions, without consulting your doctor first.

Made in the UK. Take one to three tablets daily as required.

Lithium OROTATE is brilliant for when you are feeling a bit flat or down whether physically, mentally or emotionally. Dont confuse it with other types of Lithiums which are GP prescribed for severe metal disorders and are very addictive, the Orotate version is the natural form and is non addictive and the dose is comparatively minute. I like to have it by me for those times when life throws something at you and you are struggling with lack or energy or motivation and your battery needs topping up (lithium is used in the manufacture of batteries too) I can take one a day for a few days and be back to normal and stop whenever i want to with no issues. If it is going to work for you, you can tell after the lst dose, though you wonder if you are imagining it! But on the second or third day you know its sorted out your circuitry! If it does not work for you it may be more of a hormonal imbalance rather than chemical so I also always have by me low dose Pregnenolone which is the natural version of the drug prednisolone, its the same old story that the natural versions work brilliantly but cant be patented so TPTB have to alter them (and not for the better) so they can charge lots for them!
