Iron Bisglycinate 14mg

  • 14mg of elemental iron per tablet as ferrous bisglycinate — 100% NRV
  • Chelated form with the amino acid glycine, gentler on the stomach than ferrous fumarate
  • Iron contributes to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue
Description

Iron is an essential mineral required for the formation of haemoglobin, the protein in red blood cells that carries oxygen around the body. Our tablets use ferrous bisglycinate — iron bound to two molecules of the amino acid glycine — which is recognised as one of the most bioavailable and well-tolerated forms of supplemental iron.

Many people experience side effects from common iron supplements such as ferrous sulphate or ferrous fumarate, including nausea, constipation and stomach discomfort. The bisglycinate form is absorbed differently in the digestive tract and is generally much better tolerated.

Iron requirements vary by age, sex and lifestyle. Menstruating women, pregnant women, vegetarians and vegans, and athletes typically need higher intakes than the general adult population.

Very subtle

I’ve been taking the iron bisglycinate and to be totally honest thought I was wasting my time and money. But I persisted and have been feeling a big improvement in the last few days. I can definitely recommend this product… but you need to give it time to do it’s thing.
