Zinc Complex 50 mg

  • 50mg of elemental zinc per tablet from three chelated forms — citrate, picolinate and bisglycinate
  • Added copper (1mg) to support balanced zinc-to-copper ratio
  • Zinc contributes to the normal function of the immune system
Description

Zinc is an essential trace mineral involved in over 300 enzyme reactions in the body, including DNA synthesis, protein metabolism and immune system function. Our Zinc Complex combines three of the most bioavailable chelated forms — zinc citrate, zinc picolinate and zinc bisglycinate — to deliver 50mg of elemental zinc per tablet, alongside 1mg of copper as copper bisglycinate.

Long-term zinc supplementation without copper can deplete copper levels in the body, since the two minerals share absorption pathways. Including copper alongside zinc helps maintain a balanced ratio between the two.

Approved EFSA Health Claims for Zinc:

  • Contributes to normal cognitive function, fertility and reproduction

I trust that it works

I love that this complex contains different forms of zinc for maximum absorption. I usually take it when I feel like I am coming down with an illness and it’s hard to tell if it works, but I trust that it does… zinc is supposed to be so important during illness so I make sure I have plenty on hand always.
