Biotin 10mg

  • 10mg (10,000mcg) of biotin per tablet — high strength dose
  • Biotin contributes to the maintenance of normal hair and skin
  • Biotin contributes to normal energy-yielding metabolism
Description

Biotin, also known as Vitamin B7 or Vitamin H, is a water-soluble B vitamin that plays a role in the metabolism of carbohydrates, fats and proteins. While the body needs biotin in only microgram amounts and clinical deficiency is rare, biotin is one of the most popular supplements specifically for hair, skin and nail support — a use that reflects its EFSA-authorised role in the maintenance of normal hair and skin.

Our tablets deliver 10mg (10,000mcg) of biotin per tablet — a high-dose option used by people seeking visible results in hair and nail condition over a sustained supplementation period. Biotin is very safe even at high doses, but very high biotin intake can interfere with certain laboratory blood tests (notably some thyroid and troponin assays). If you are due to have blood tests, mention biotin supplementation to your doctor.
