High Strength Vitamin K2 Tablets 500 mcg

  • 500mcg of Vitamin K2 as MK-7 in the all-trans configuration per tablet
  • Long half-life form ideal for once-daily supplementation
  • Vitamin K contributes to the maintenance of normal bones
Description

Vitamin K2 as MK-7 (menaquinone-7) has the longest half-life of any vitamin K form — circulating in the bloodstream for several days after a single dose. This makes it well suited to once-daily supplementation and helps maintain steady vitamin K status between doses.

The all-trans configuration is the biologically active form of MK-7. Some MK-7 ingredients contain a mixture of the active all-trans form and the inactive cis form; our K2 is sourced as all-trans only, so the full labelled dose is in the form the body can use.

Approved EFSA Health Claims for Vitamin K:

  • Contributes to the maintenance of normal bones

Awesome

I have been taking high strength K2 and Vitamin D tablets for over 10 years, i was recommended them by my Haematologist consultant after being diagnosed with (incurable) smouldering Multiple Myeloma, he informed me back in 2016, that tests in Poland showed taking these supplements kept the myeloma under control, it is now 10 years on and my myeloma is still under control thanks to taking these superb quality high strength supplements made in UK by Phoenix Nutrition, i used to buy them on Amazon, but they were unavailable recently so i bought a different brand, after taking that brand for a couple of months my next Myeloma tests showed a huge rise in my ( Myeloma light chains), i quickly searched online for Phoenix and where i could buy them again as Amazon were still out of stock, thankfully i was able to buy direct from Phoenix online and ditched the other brand pretty sharpish ,Thank you Phoenix for a brilliant product , Not all products are equal!!!

A shot in the dark

I take these in the hope that the ingested vitamin K2 will soon be catalysing terminal carboxilation of vascular matrix Gla proteins, which will redirect circulating Ca++ away from my soft tissues. I have absolutely no idea if that is the case, but it seems like a good idea to take them alongside my 4000IU of Vit D3
